Grant, my apologies. It turned out to be the starter relay. Our original one was faulty, and upon replacing with the new one, the "bumper" on top of the relay was on the wrong post and we wired it up backwards which forced the problem from an intermittent to continuous! Swapped the bumper and...

Well, we figured out the problem. The starter relay (initial one) had been faulty and when we hooked up the new one, wires were backwards. :shock: Oh well, live and learn!

No, although we have started to diagnose that problem now that we got the starter fixed. We are following the steps as mentioned in this post (testing leads) and then working our way through the different tests suggested in the TM. I will keep you posted.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, when you turn the starter switch, the brake light turns on, so i think the switch is working....I am not 100 percent sure though. Once we start getting into electrical gremlins I am lost.

I will get back with you after I measure them. I got two guys started on the project and started working on the starter. I will have to double check and get back with you. Just shooting from the hip, they look to be about 2" bolts or so.
