    Key start Deuce!

Is your main thought for security? If so you could put in a Keyed battery cut off switch, that's fairly easy to do, however a key start is interesting too..

US Army WW1 M1917 Ambulance (Ford)

"How to get a HET in life..." - M1070 Acquisition thread

You should take the last two axles off and put a M105 trailer bed on the back.. Just kidding, but that may look cool too, but then again what's the point.. Best of luck with her.

    Virginia Fresh Meat!

Once you have a bobbed deuce it's just a big heavy pickup truck so you should have any problems registering it. Check were you relocate, I would pick something with some land where you can hide your toys to people don't complain. HOA's hate big trucks like these. I live at the end of a...

Keyed battery cutoff switch for your military truck

Did you ever install one of these on a Deuce? Not sure where I could place the switch based on how long the cables are.

    Your Advice Please

Don't rush into it. Think about what you want it for and cost to drive. You also need to think and check into any local zoning ordinances when looking at a big truck. My M35 is OK where I am but they have a weight and length limit in my area so a 900 series wouldn't work for me. Also a 5 ton...

What year is this thing ?

Based on what I know about the Contract No the Middle number is the date for which the contract for the truck(s) were issued in your case 85 so that truck was built in 85 or later.

help identify trailer I am looking at buying this weekend?

The M105 is roughly 6x9 so I would say yes it is. Your truck will do fine with it. I towed mine with my Navigator. Hard to get it level though.. unless it's behind my deuce.

$369 Plasma Cutters at Mardens (Maine)

Wish I was closer to that store, I just used a plasma cutter the other day cutting out new lug holes on two new rims for my old backhoe which has rims that no one has ever seen before. Anyway the junkyard guy let me use his cutter to make new lug holes in the two new (old) rims. I looked at...

Just purchased MEP-002A - Rent our home - suggestions on best way to use?

Kevin, thanks for the info. Have you used the panel that you listed the link for? For $8.99 it seems rather cheap but I do like cheap :-o as long as it is quality. Could be that it was a bulk purchase. Even at 18.99 or 29.99 I would think it's a good deal based on what you are getting...

Just purchased MEP-002A - Rent our home - suggestions on best way to use?

Question, still a novice to the MEP's but why would you need two of these units, can't you just hook up one of them?

    Generator prices

Don't have any idea why someone would pay that much for a questionable unit. Unless there was a hurricane on the way or something..
