There might be one at the Pull-A-Part down here on the Southshore. I don't know when I'd be able to get out there and check though. They have really good prices and offer a free exchange warrantee with all their parts too.
I'd say go with a semi gloss black. I had an '87 crown vic that was painted flat black (Krylon ultra flat camouflage paint) and it looked like crap most of the time. A semi gloss finish would have been much easier to keep up and would have looked a lot better, imo.
That said, DO IT!!! and post...
I don't have a deuce, but I'm very interested in them and may be in the market sometime soon. I've never even ridden in one, so if someone would like to bring one along...:-D
Oh yeah, I'm always up for a beer too. Just name the time and place.
I went to the Spring '07 shoot, There is nothing like it. I have a few friends that are big in class 3 stuff, so they are at every shoot. We usually have a little "tailgate" party with jambalaya. Our food was very popular :-D
If I can get fuel and a hotel room, I might go up there. Then again...
Dont think i'll be ready real soon, but I'd love to come look at it. Who knows, maybe I'll have to start selling off some stuff. I seem to do that a lot.rofl
Nice lookin truck. Whenever you get it back in the area, I'd like to check it out. That and your deuce. I'm thinkin I'm about to end up with another expensive hobby.
RE: Re: RE: Newbie to M35A-2!!! Calling all fellow Louisiana
Hey! Another Louisianian! I'm in the New Orleans area. I don't have a Deuce (or any MV's for that matter), but will be getting one before too long.
Thanks for the welcomes. I probably won't have a Deuce until sometime this summer. Until then, I want to learn as much about them as possible. So if anyone here needs an extra set of hands for something, I'd be glad to assist. I really would like to check one out in person sometime.
