Not munch trouble , you take off steering wheel and then you pull it off and then you use a compuser to push down and you pull the clip off and then you are at the guts of it. Then you use a ¼ socket to take the engine lock and then replace it and but it bat the same way you took it apart.
i Have a 93 Chevy 4 by4 6,2l and My starter went out and I had to replace it and I went to Autozone for it but it cost $165.00 I think now and then I had a bolt brake and had to drill it and tap it out, and that how I found out about the bracket was not there. I think it's a direct drive one...
I hope you have a trans. jack to put it back in and help too. I found the bracket on Amazon and it's only $6.00 , because I was having the same problem with the starter .
And that what I want too but it's not happen, I have mine parked behind the house but there is trees near it . so I have to move it and fine a different place for it.
have you tried big3oem on some parts and partsgeak and the the other is Rockauto but you need to say year and make and not m1008 but a G30 check that out .
if it was me you were talking about no problem guy and I only have ad my truck sence Oct-15-15 and I do use my truck a lot but the was after I had the trans rebuild and did some miner things and now I have redid the transfer case and I only need a small part and the Army wanted me to spend a lot...
