CLEB: To tell you the truth, I think that is caused by starting out in 2nd gear. I think the syncros may be going and if it gets much worse, 3rd will dissapear since they are on the same shaft.
You probably mean that it is infra-red insulative. Thats what is on the comm shelters so they have a dimished infra-red signature. As far as radar absorbing paint goes, it exists. They use it on cruise missles.
1. drag link 2.If you put oversize tires and rims on that vehicle, you stress the frame at the steering box. Any type of "boxing" or other reinforcement is not a smart thing to do. The frame will torque wherever the reinforcement terminates.

I have been running autozone truck batts for 6 years. They freeze every year, no doubt have sulfides but work great until it drops under 30. Then I jump them and they work great till I let it sit for over 1 week at 20 degrees. How much does it cost to ship batteries?
If the basic vehicle has not been modified then it met ALL FMVSS requirements for the year that it was manufactured. If it was "bobbed" that would have NO bearing on weather or not it met all Federal Motor Vehicle Standards for its year of manufacture because there are no standards for frame...
