I think that a mild built 7.3 stroker such as I have would really make a bobbed deuce fly..
That being said I have seen brand new t444e power units sell for 5k....so I'm sure a good used runner and tranny culd be had for much less...

94-97(and early 99) are the motors to get because of the factory forged rods etc......
As far as SAE housings, im not sure...ive never seen definitive proof that the ford power stroke 7.3's have an sae housing pattern like the T444E....If they did, im sure it would open alot of options...

the issues with the zf6's drive shaft is no problem, as the later models and f450/f550 units had a solid yoke.
I really believe the 7.3 stroker is one of the best motors made, especially when one runs home brew bio diesel etc in it. Think about it....There is no injection pump to wear out/leak...
so ive seen cat 3208s in these things so there is no doubt a 7.3 would fit correct?

After years of following the rules by the book of paying my truck payments and only to have a few left before its yours and something devastating happens. My last two trucks were totaled not...
so other than the necessary 12v fuel solenoid, one could make everything else work if her wanted to and may not have it completly correct but would run and drive manually?
my truck came without the front or rear bumpers brackets etc. where can i buy them?
Are the plain bumpers and brackets from places like LMC the same? would they fit?
any advice?

winch is already mounted verical in its mount. Look at the pics on previous pages, but i know i have challenges ahead.
I do need bigger airbags. I found the valves etc i need but i still need bigger airbags. see here.
so im back at it with this project. I have found all the valving etc i need. Now i just to find bigger/ taller airbags, the biggest ones i have found are about a usable 10" travel(stroke)
