I purchased one from SECO in Augusta, Ga. They sell all of the gaskets separately. They are a little pricey. But cheaper than having to purchase a whole gasket kit.
If you are going to turn up the fuel , It would be my suggestion to install a pyro. There is no need for a FDC if you install a pyro. The stud with the two jam nuts on the bottom of the FDC that you moved DOES change the timing on the plunger. I have actually added 8 -10 flats to most of the...
No, if it is stuck, it is damaged. Mine actually galled to the IP head. You do not have to replace the whole pump. Just the head. I had to replace my entire pump because, I beat the bottom of the plunger off trying to start it and ran shrapnel throughout my entire pump.
My truck did the same thing last month. I was running 70% wmo and 30% diesel. The temperature was around 35 degrees. The plunger in my IP head seized. I believe it was due to the viscosity of my fuel being to thick. I don't think it was thin enough to lubricate the plunger. Started right...
I will have to look, when I am at the shop tomarrow, to verify this number. But, I believe the napa oil filter number is 1133. It comes with the correct gasket.
as a matter of fact, I am painting one like that. I am in the process of reassembling the truck right now. pm me later on to remind me to post a picture.
Hey...... maybe there is an idea for a "front wheel drive" bobbed deuce!!!LOL!
I tried that on the deuce I just bobbed. The steering wheel was all jerky like any typical front wheel drive vehicle. You can't move it until the air pressure is up enough to engage the transfer case. My battery...
Just a little suggestion, especially traveling as far as you are going, it will be well worth your while to drop the drive shaft between the two rear ends before you leave. It will dramatically free up your drive line. You will get a couple of miles per gallon increase in your fuel consumption...
Open the hood and starting at the heater follow the heater hoses back to where they enter the engine block. You will see a petcock there on both entry points. Open those. They should turn OUT about 1 inch. that allows you hot water to enter your heater. Then go inside the cab and pull the...
I am going to keep my single circuit system. My duel circuit system on my Dodge 2500 truck failed on the front. The drivers side rubber hose burst. I had complete brake failure. Complete brake failure is complete brake failure no matter how you put it!
My concern would be whether or not the 105 trailer frame is substantial enough to handle the stresses that a truck is going to put on it. All of the 105 trailer frames that I have worked with are nothing more than a piece of 10 ga. bent into a C. Look at it compared to the deuce frame or for...
I installed a muffler and put Dynomat on my floor and firewall. My engine noise is no longer a problem. The gear noise from tranny and rear end are now the problem. Removing the turbo noise is the least of the harmonic noise issues in these trucks.
