Theres no heater or either, soft top, changed windows. they sold cheap last winter.. but there gone now. put a $100 of spray can paint in camo on it, makes for a new looking truck. Drive it in some parades, make people want it, lower price.
If you have the time... Bring all the fluids, wrenches, check, top off, grease it, extra bats, driver and cash, ear plugs and check the hubs for heating as you go.
Are you guys using the stock outside dual, mounting 395s, not flipping hubs on rear.
Then using hemit rims in front to track the same as rear?
Thanks, your trucks look great!
Since this post is still alive... The first time I saw the first post I was going to preview some dueces.
What did I see... A pickup towing a road grader.
Fill with fluid, (dot 5) pump the brakes till you get some peddle. Refill. Now have someone pump up the brakes and hold peddle down. Go to each wheel and bleed of air and close value, pump up again and bleed till air bubbles stop. Important keep fluid full and the peddle cannot be let off...
Place truck park brake on, tran and tranfer in nuetral switch on. See if you have full power at starter cable lug. If you do and it and starter only clicks. It means your selinoid copper disc is fried and is engaging selinoid but not engaging starter motor. Disconect bat cables, remove selinoid...

I am with NDT on this one.
I would load it or tow it. A locked up trany on a freeway.. not good!
Maybe you can get by with bearings now. If it fails you have gears and it may take out clutch also. If you have a hose listen on trans and trans while moving if for your noise point.
Surely...
I have it in shop now to get rebuilt! Low bid of $1200+. Im told this is good price, comes with warrenty! I was told if I waited 3 weeks I could get another working trans one for less. Don't want to wait. I am going to put larger rubber for speed. The overdrive is more pricy Im told. The more...

Did you get your starter fixed? Before you pull it off disconect bats. Remove plate on selinoid.
Be carefull spring will push your copper plate out. Its probably fried. Take a file across it to smoothen it and or flip it over and reinstall. Did this many times on tractors and trucks!
