The schedule is probably one of the most unique things about the Rally. It starts at 8:00 AM and is over by 4:00 PM - or so (depending on whether you go on the Cruise or not).
We had a vendor last year. I don't know how he did on sales. He was the only one we ever had. He had a scheduling...
I appreciate your interest. There is no cost for admission to the BA-DA BA-DA BING BANG Rally.
If you really are planning on attending, please PM me and I will send you more information.
Please note the Rally is held in Atlantic, Iowa.
There is a thread over on G503 concerning accessories you put with your vehicle, when you display it. Many suggestions and observations, but I don't think any of them talk about chainsaws. :-D
Oh . . . I did get the nuclear hand grenade built I spoke about in an earlier post.
It will be at the rally too (mostly because it is too big to be anywhere else).
No M-1009 this year - or are my records incorrect? That is not a problem. I think the public likes the HMMWVs just as much as they like the CUCVs.
That puts the count at 23 vehicles and a whole bunch of owner / operators not responding yet. I know they will be here. I just guess they like...
I did read your post. Neither you or I said anything about the width having to do with the M1 Abrams. I was responding to the OPs original statement - "I heard recently that the reason hmmwv was built so wide was that in war times roads are made with tanks, and tanks are wide, and stuff that...
Not too sure about that "track width" thing.
An M-1 Abrams is 12' wide and a HMMWV is only 7' 1" wide. The tracks and/or wheels are pretty close to the outside of the vehicle.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding the point?
"Rough terrain driving" . . . well there is a pretty bad pothole at the intersection of 7th and Olive (most people just drive around it), but they might have it fixed by May. :D
Seriously, I expect I could find someplace for you to do that sort of thing. I have noticed a bunch of pickups...
Time for an update on the BA-DA BA-DA BING BANG Rally. As of now, I have eleven vehicles scheduled to attend and a whole bunch of folks not saying anything – yet. I probably would worry about that, but I don’t have time. I am pretty busy getting all of the “extra” things ready.
The...
I don't have a clue what they are worth and I understand you are trying to buy them from a friend, but I thanked you anyway . . . 'cuz I like to look at photos of old Army trucks. :D
Here we go, again!
It is time to start planning for the 4th annual BA-DA BA-DA BING BANG RALLY.
This year’s rally will be held on the 19th of May (Saturday). All other things will be the same as last year with a few exceptions.
First and the most important note with the...
You want to really test those batteries?
Bring it up here. Two degrees below zero this morning at 7:00 AM.
It is up to one degree now. So, what is that a three degree "swing" in four hours?
