if you pull the rear drive shaft and drive it in front wheel drive you will be pumping your t-case fluid out the rear output boys.:grin:

I just got my second cucv it is a 1009 blazer and it has a door tag for the 1008 truck. I would swap somebody if they have the opposite problem. I am sure uncle sam just grabbed a door from a parts rig and never looked at it.

I run military 36"s with a 4" lift from tough country no rubbing yet on my 1008. I did order longer brake lines and shocks though.

It would be easier to swap a 700 and matching t case out of a burb blazer or pickup. You need the t-case becasue the 700r4 is always 27 spline output. Find a suburban on CL there are tons of cheap ones around here. You should have enough parts to put the other truck back together and resell.

Mine had 3.73's swapped in JUST the rear straigtht from the GSA sale. It sure made the 4wd not work worth a crap. never heard of 488 though.

The Bfg's are very sweet and I am not baggin on them at all just sometimes I have a budget that allows them and sometimes not.:cry:

Also about twice the price for bfg's in the 37 inch sizes mabye even higher.
