When I redid my M923, I also had it blasted and then I sprayed Chassis Saver by Magnet Paints. I am quite happy with the results. (I used an LVLP set-up in a homemade spray booth.)
I read a bunch of the comparisons between CS and POR and RustBullet, etc., and in the end went with CS. If you're...
This is good info, I hadn't read that yet.
One of them fancy Haldex units, correct? I'm plowing through WP 0156 now to see how much progress I can make before having to track one of those down ...
I installed one of those aftermarket Delco 21SI alternators last year and it's putting out just...
Hello to all!
I've had my 923A0 for about 3 years and it's behaved quite well.
About 2 weeks ago, the ABS check light stopped turning off after the brief illumination cycle ... but not every time.
I first noticed it after having parked overnight on a slight 4-degree downward hill. As I was...
I stumbled on this thread while looking for something completely different, but it just so happened at the same time I was 'engaged' with NOCO tech support about their G7200 model.

I installed this same alternator, but I've been really remiss in not doing a write-up.
I connected just the two main wires, with nothing on the other two "small" terminals.
It's been working great for about 10 months. (Mine is not a daily driver, so those 10 months are maybe 200 miles.)

For me the tire tends to roll over sideways, so I placed a couple sturdy 2x4's between the ground and the tank and Soldier B guided the tire down until it met the ground. That'll do in an emergency ...
The "rear" end is open; the inner piece is notched horizontally and slides into a small welded cross-member whose role is to prevent the extension from sliding out the back end. This is where I'm able to apply force to the inner pipe. I'm going to locate a scrap piece of the the same diameter...
I'm in mid-restoration and struggling mightily with the danged boom extension on my spare tire carrier. It is rusted tight in place.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Liberal application of PB Blaster, wait appropriate delay, attempt extension rotation from welded-on cross piece on front of...
