I had a similar issue, it was the initial or what I call the third filter underneath, not the two up top. I would be curious that the pump would go out that fast. That filter element is a really short so all the junk drops, now that your pumping it might be full of tank trash etc.

When I had a similar issue it was the pump in the fuel tank itself, it would cut out on the road, I replaced it and all is well, however I still need to do the thirty second wait, then three cranks to start, it may be my hose so I'm going to check it now. Thanks for the thread.
I like that idea, when I'm ready for that hook up I'll ring back, I might also plug in a bank of 120 plugs to it, or I suppose I can plug in a power strip to the two on the front right? Or should I wire the poles directly with a box of outlets?
I also wanted to add, I did not wire in a breaker, I felt the RV has it s own breaker box, and the generator has its internal fuses, I felt it was too redundant, please let me know.
