Thanks for all the responses. At this point I think I might go look at the CL truck and see if it has a title and is a solid runner. If its not everything im looking for then I'm gonna try my luck on GL
It has a soft top unfortunately. But the ad says clean title so I think he has the title. It also has the cargo cover so that makes it worth a little more I would think?
I am interested in getting a 5 ton after I purchased a m35a2 last fall. I was going to try to win one on GL but I also didn't want to deal with the headache of inspecting the truck since my closest lot is far away. I also didn't want to deal with the EUC form and people stealing parts while I...
Hey SS,
I've been trying to remove the softtop off my new to me deuce and a half and I cant figure out how to remove the front windshield part of it. Could anyone give me any pointers on how to get it off?
Thanks florida for your generous offer but since i have barely any mechanical experience at all i think i want to try to find a place to get the whole top of the pump piece with all the parts rather than trying to dig in there and replace it because i think I'd probably mess something else up in...

I tried to adjust my fuel for the first time this morning i cut the little wire holding the nut and now i adjusted the screw. However the screw or whatever it is came out of the pump. So i just adjusted it and put it back in. And after i did that i cannot get the deuce to start up. Any ideas...
Hey SS, I'm going to be entering my 1967 deuce in the truck pulls at my local county fair in a few weeks. I don't have much experience with pulling so I was wondering what gear I should be in while pulling to give me the best chance of making it all the way down the track?
Jacked up the front end today. Checked both hubs for slack and there was no movement that I could feel. Check the drivers side tire and it spun like normal. I didn't even have to take off the hub cover to spin it! Now the passengers side tire, thats a different story. I go to spin it and I can...
I checked the lug nuts and they all seemed pretty tight so I dont think it could be the wheel studs. If it is the bearing, wouldn't I have noticed something at all a few weeks ago when I was driving? I feel like its gotta be related to the drop in temp.
