What I mean is replace the clunky GP Solenoid with the same relay used for the doghead starter relay conversion. It is a 200 amp relay, so it should work perfect. And then I can keep one spare for both if for some reason they ever failed.
I will say I am considering doing the modified doghead relay mod (that is what I am calling it). Going to use one for the GP relay and see how it does. Definitly will be quieter haha
The m1008 I just bought from Camp Shelby had the glow plug resistor bypass mod as well as the glow plug relay mod already done on it as well. Kinda suprised me. All I had to do was the doghead relay.
