Ok, I got it runing withthe help of all the members here. Now i let my truck Idle, and i had a bit of smoke comming off the resistor against the fire wall. Normal? or what could it be?
thanks fellas, i will crawl all around this truck tomorrow. I am going to look through it all. I cant find a wiring schematic, but hope to find one soon.
Not anything now. What is the little device to the right of the glow bug relay on the fire wall right behind the motor?? that is where the clatter comes when i let the key in on position. everything dies out if I let it in the on position. but I'm still getting 24v combined on batteries.
this happen all before i put the relays on the floor, I put them on the floor to locate the clatter buzz noises.... I will relocate the relays, but I think I was told to unbolt them so if it ever sticks you can yank the relay out to avoid the Starter burning up. That is if I heard them...
ok, i have 12 on each, 24 combined....I turn the switch to let the wait light go, and while waiting it dims out. Thats bad ground? or is there a voltage regulator?
Ok, if this doesnt work, i will look through the whole forum and manuals.
My truck wont start. Now, i hear the relay. But if I let the glow plugs warm up, after about 30sec.+ i get a wierd buzz behind dash. other then the relays cause i have them laying on floor to look at. I have no clue...
I'm up for a trip to Jersey, and some trail riding. Havent done any yet been ready but havent been able to make any of the organized trips.
I will have to make time for this one.
Can I make an appoint to go look at all, or do I have to have a list of Trucks, things I want to look at? And after settling of auction, what are the usual costs to get the truck home, and on the road (thats saying the truck is road ready). Thank you for your time.

Ok, i will look into all these thank you. They are new belts, replaced them like 3 months ago. This prob. started 2 weeks ago. I will look into all the above and again thank you all for the info.
When I start my 1028 in the mornings, to warm it up for work, i get this neighbor waking squeel (which I dont mind the neighbor thing) but it does worry me that there might be a prob. Any ideas. Thanks.

with the size of those cables you could go to a 100' and not worry about voltage drop.
voltage drop is usaually started at 50'. but like I stated the guage of that wire no need to worry about voltage drop.
I would like to have a set of slaves for my 1028 CUCV... lol
