    Snowblower on my M37

I wrote an article last winter in the Jan and Feb Power Wagon Advertiser on how it did it but I'll post some more photos. I used my old plow frame and the plow lift cylinder to raise the blower and used the lower mount to bolt my fabricated blower mount to pin it up.

    Snowblower on my M37

Its a 6 1/2 foot pto blower off a farm tractor. beats the **** out of a plow you can only push snow so far then it turns into concrete. I don't have a lot of room around here, so I have to get it out of the way right from git street. I use a lot of 12 volt drive motors to run the functions...

Oshkosh Snow plow W/ frozen motor

Man where would you get a gallon of clean water from?If there wasn't a rain cap or coffee can over the stack. It is possible for some to enter through the exhaust if it was Forrest Gump sideways rain. But a gallon. I know it rains a lot in Washington but we're talkin' monsoon here. Does the...

Oshkosh Snow plow W/ frozen motor

These trucks were the "Great Whites" of the snow plowing ocean not taking away any thing from the Walters or FWDs but the Oshkosh WT2206s are my favorites. Crasheej is right a 12000 ft runway at 0 dark thirty and the wind blowing up the crack of your wazoo separates the pups from the "Big...

Oshkosh Snow plow W/ frozen motor

It looks like this... and plows both ways. Its called a Frink roll-over plow very innovative and efficient. With WT-2206 behind it at 50MPH it makes short work of a 12,000 ft runway

    1973 Walter "Snow Fighting" Truck

Your welcome, Glad to be able to help,I'm not trying to sell the Walters short as they are formidable trucks with a rich and long history of service , especially in snow removal. They along with the FWDs and Oshkosh trucks were used at the northern most bases during the cold war and into the...

    1973 Walter "Snow Fighting" Truck

I would advise not using the front snow plow to grade your road, the under body blade was designed just for that. Find a dealer that stocks those blades and get a spare set because the gravel will wear them down at a pretty fair clip. You should have 2 gauges on the RS of the dash set them...

    1973 Walter "Snow Fighting" Truck

Not trying to scare you Bud... anything with 2 Holly 4 barrels is not gonna want to go by the gas station with out stopping there, whether its a 69 Road Runner or a WT2206.

    1973 Walter "Snow Fighting" Truck

Yeah I'm hep, The old Oshkosh WT2206s were gassers at first too(Hall Scott) I don't know if it was 2 miles to the gallon or 2 gallons to the mile. Didn't matter....the government had no end to our dollars for gas back then just like they do now.
