I bought a new surplus 6.2 for my 86 M1009 but it was set up for 24v for a non-turbo HMMWV and I don't want to remove the hole pump if I don't have too....That's was I ask it a 12v top cover from an DB2 4520 will interchange....

Could you post a photo of the cable that plugs into that big 50 something pin diagnostic plug in side the cap the cucv M1008 M1009. Is there a part number on it??? My ste/ice box works but no cable for that big dumb plug....Thx Dave
Can you post some more photos of what the cable to the battery looks like or what the model number of the cable is??? Did you have to fab something???

I been beating my head against the wall looking for the adapter from the 52 or 54 pin diagnostic plug in a CUCV series trucks to the STE ICE diagnostic machine.............
Any one have any ideas were I could find this allusive item......I think I'd have an easier time looking for the holy grail...

The same plug is in the M1008, M1010, M1028 and M1031.
