    I found a V8 Deuse

What would you like to know about Mopar industrial engines? They used 413s in industrial applications and even motorhomes well into the 70s. Mine was a 1973 413 out of a motorhome. It is strange that they kept them in service despite killing them off for passenger car use in 1963. That engine...

    I found a V8 Deuse

That's definitely an industrial 413. It's got the high mounted large diameter water pump. I had one in the past and still run a Chrysler "RB" engine. It's a twin turbocharged fuel injected 440 in a 65 Plymouth but it would fit nicely in a Deuce. It's a shame that someone took the axles. It...

    Soon to be broke!

There's an easy solution to the drive shaft bolts. Drill a small hole through the heads and wire them together. The wire will prevent the bolts from turning. That's common on race car stuff.

    Xtreme 4X4 Deuce bobbed(Spike TV)

With bags they can drop the rear of the truck a wee bit. That will make it easier to get the Sammi in and out. The ramps will still be steep. Put a good hard point in the front of the bed in case the Sammi dies and you have to winch it in.

    necessary addition to any deuce!

I was wondering about the life span with road vibration. A rubber mount would probably help.

Making a Deuce a (better) highway vehicle?

WOW! That's the first post I've ever seen from TM without a  in there somewhere. I'm relatively new here and have been trying to figure out if he was really that critical of others or just got his kicks out of seeing the little guy roll his eyes. I've been saving my pennies to pick...

    necessary addition to any deuce!

PEAK Backup Camera It's an easy to hide back up camera with a wireless transmitter. The display suction cups to the windshield. You can pop it off and put it away when it's not needed. I would imagine that it'd make life much easier when backing one of these beasts into a non-deuce friendly...

    My version of rear exhaust

Diesel soot is one thing. Diesel heat melting wiring and cooking the tail light is a different story. Route it away from that light and it should be OK.

    14.00 on stock rims?

You've missed one key point in your thoughts. Rotational inertia. Those moster tires are HEAVY. Heavier wheels and tires take more effort to stop. Period. End of sentence. That is governed by the laws of physics. Picture yourself holding a ten speed bycycle wheel with your hands. Have a...

    My version of rear exhaust

That tail light will be toast in no time. have you seen the diesel soot built up on class 8 trailers? You can also look at the back of dually pickups and see the bumper and fenders are sooted up badly.

    deuce vs excavator

There are lots of those sink holes in central Texas. In dinosaur times that part of the country was an ocean floor. The Edwards Aquifier is under that property and runs over 180 miles. The number of caverns and underground rivers would suprise you. There's only one natural lake in Texas and it...

    deuce vs excavator

Nice pick! You had a pretty easy time with that one. A little knowledge can go a long way. Unfortunately, this one wasn't going to come out with a duece and a couple snatch blocks. It took a couple weeks of Texas summer to dry the ground, a backhoe to dig, and two 40 ton winch dozers to pull...
