first off you need to disconnect the fuel lines from the injection pump that would be the rubber line comeing from the fuel filters remove the fuel filters then remove the line from the tank now for the hard and inprotant part you need to run gas down each steel line till the fuel...
check your forward and backwards play it your have been in a bind i have seen on some trucks the bottom bracket moves and that happens if you could send a pic i could tell you more
true they do put on that many miles but remember they are in the shop for maintenance at REGULAR INTERVILES and are built for the heavy pulling and have the electronics that watch for ANY problem that starts to happen

true i have read that story and the way i see it is if you want to add put alot of money in a truck then i would go with gear but if you are just going to do what most of us do (run them day to day) and not hotrod the truck then the chain will be fine
