Awesome looking truck and welcome to the site. I'd start reading the TMs and definitely go over the brake system first. We ll be happy to help if we can.
OK picked up 5 NOS wheels at the Mount Dora Show. I wanted to know what valve stems to get and can I get them at Napa? I wil be running my 14.00 20 NATO NDTs. The tires are around 10" wide. My rear hubs are already flipped. Any tips and or help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to search it...
OK guys my bearing retainer should be here today and my clutch disc, pilot bushing and throw out bearing on Saturday. My truck may make an appearance at the show on Sunday I hope. I'll get some pics and videos up as well.
OK guys I've started some mechanical drawings to install this box on to my bobber. I did not want to swap beds so I came up with this solution. I looked over TM10-3530-205-14 as well as the operators manual for the box dimensions. I had no luck finding the info I was after. I have the newer...

I have mine in a deuce I don't think you'll get voltage without a battery I think it's a built in safety feature to protect the alternator from being damaged. I have mine in my service box in a plastic boat battery box I ran a a 10 or 12 Gage wire from it to the battery. Then powered my stereo...
You can charge a third battery with it I wouldn't run a stereo off of just the wire I think it has a voltage sensor in it so it won't read a charge voltage unless a Battery is hooked up to it.
I have a passenger side deuce fender, used multifuel water pump, air compressor, intake and exhaust manifold, deuce bench seat, tach gauge, I (may) sell/trade my cab heater and vents possibly my cab hard top. My wants multi fuel tach cable, fuel gauge, door latch assemblies, front valve cover, Ross...
Not for the Niehoff alternator you do not. It does have to be hooked up to batteries for the charge voltage to kick on I think it has a voltage sensor. You ll also need a double pulley for it. If it doesn't come with one. I had to buy one because mine came with the serpentine pulley.
I ll be going this year again I live really close. I live right down the street from Hochimin I think he's going as well. I may have to bring some stuff as well. Do we have a parts wanted/trade sell thread for the show??
Mines whallered out so it needs changed you can see the wear on the part. M35 Tom said to leave it in after I rebuilt it but it's OK I've gotten pretty fast at taking it out. My 13 year old and I had it out in an hour and a half over the summer I did it alone this time in about 2 hrs so it was...
