Hmmm. Here is my reply from Parttarget: Let me begin by thanking you for providing us with the opportunity to assist you in meeting your supply chain requirements. Unfortunately, upon further review, we do not believe we can be of assistance relative to this particular RFQ. However, should you...
The Air Supply valve on my M1078 is leaking and I'm looking for a replacement. can these be bought individually? I see lots of them on the usual FleaBay and Amazon searches.
Just wondering if these are fairly generic or we need a special one? Supraman?

Today, I finished installation of my version of TJ's system. My CTIS had the 5 flashing lights and after screwing with it for weeks, I was just done. I like the manual system so much better, and it adds a bit of Steam Punk-ness to the interior. I used a glycerin filled air gauge and a filter on...
I did my LMTV and the difference was amazing. Once I get the AC Roof Unit on, I plan to build foam roof insulation and a headliner. Nothing fancy, just a basic unit.

Not yet, these are hella expensive and I'd like to eliminate all other possible problems before going there.
It would be neat if I could test using a known 'good' one. I would hate to rip this up by going with a manual set up..

Here is the sad part.. Upon start up, I get around 130 psi at the gauge. After its warm, it settles down to around 120. The pressure switch is working and clicks on at 120. I'm still getting 5 flashing lites on the controller..

In the process of trying to diagnose CTIS issues, I decided to install a small air pressure gauge to find out just what the **** was going on in my wet tank. I drilled and threaded the elbow coming out of the tank (after disassembling the regulator), and used an air gun to remove any latent...
I will be doing both. I have covered my ceiling with sound mat, and will build a headliner in the future. I don't think covering the plastic panels is as evvective, YRMV. My goak was to remove the 'tinniness' of the metal cab bodywork.
I'm now looking at a 24V roof mounted AC unit, so I will...
So If I have 5 continously blinking lights, I should check the pressure in the third tank? I have already cleaned all of the connectors and used di-electric grease. Still 5 blinking lights. I guess I'll bump up the govenor. Dash gauges show 120 psi..

I've had my 1994 LMTV since the end of December. I have installed nearly two packages of sound mat in the cab and on the bottom. The difference is amazing. I'm planning on a headliner and will use cut panels of styrofoam as insulation. Even with the sound mat, I can feel the heat through the...
I just finished installing about 40sq/ft of sound mat in my LMTV cab. I did all of the interior panels and the roof. With the cab lifted, I did the entire bottom and the center section up to the air intake vent. You can actually carry on a conversation in this thing now. Stereo to follow..

Anyone have an idea where I can access a switched 12 power source inside the cab of the LMTV?
I am also trying to install a stereo and a brake control box so I can haul a trailer with electric brakes. I looked for a brake light switch on the foot brake valve and there is none that appears to...
Last call folks. Please e-mail me pics or scans of parts manual pages for the items you are looking for. I'll get these out to the MAN rep. this week and lets keep our fingers crossed!
