I now have the soft top sitting on top of the deuce, i still have to take it all off again and sand it all down and paint it, i bought some Oak today to run between the bed and the frame. Here are some updated pictures.

I used a forklift to remove the box off of the back of my deuce, i agree with Tm America, Bolt the perches on, welding cast wont hold up. I used some stock springs and hangers out of the front of another deuce, that way i didnt have to use blocks, with the blocks it will cause axle wrap. The...

i would say go with the duracoat, ive used it on a couple of my AR15's and its tough as nails.

It is not finished yet, but here is my bobbed deuce.

55Cameo used another section of deuce frame to lift his truck, and hydraulic steering to turn those big tires, i have the 15.5's on my deuce and think they are a perfect size, not too big not too small. and you can still turn without having to use any assisted steering. if i was to do it over...

you will have fun mounting the tires, the only way that i could get mine to seat on the bead was to use ether. :twisted:

do you have any more pictures of your cbc ? I want one for my trailer to tow behind my bobbed deuce, ive been thinking about building somthing like one. so i would have a mini camper.

My wheels have the same specs, i had them built by long wheel in florida.

Ive been tossing around the idea of relocating my exhaust to under the body, but then again i love the look of the stack on the deuce, so im still tossing it around, Move it down or just use a 3 1/2 cherry bomb.

Spin on oil filters..... One of the many things i want to do to my deuce, i will have to buy the kit when i change the oil in the deuce :twisted:

so i started to mess with the deuce a bit today, i scuffed down the rear frame rails and sprayed them tan, im getting ready to put the 105 body on the truck and i wanted the frame rails painted before i do, so this week some time im going to go get some 2x4 steel that im going to build a sub...

Im going to keep that trailer together, the other one will be the bed for my deuce, i bought some paint to re paint my truck too, im going to start prep this week, im going to paint the interior first and then go from there. it will be three color desert camo :-P
