Just bought this gen. I'm told it isn't generating power but I'm skeptical based on the people selling it. Runs fine. I'll get it home and figure it out. I though $1000 was worth the shot. I'll advise further if I can't figure it out.

I like the stock look generally. Actually I did locate a rebuilt mil alt from Sam Winer ($420 with a $200 core). I will replace the housing and bearing for now ($100). Seems like $420 is somewhat reasonable tho in comparison. Best part is I live near Winer Motors. Also I would love to be a...
I searched the forum but did not find a similar issue. After I replaced my lower radiator house I notice the alternator screw that holds the alternator house cracked off. Wondering if I can just find an housing and replace it, weld it or just replace it with an NOS unit (like $500) or an...

I recently got an M35A2. The cab cover was not correct for the vehicle as the previous owner used wooden blocks to raise it off the bows. Any idea what vehicle this is for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Ok new question. I have a replacement rear steer gear box. Is there a center point in the mechanism I need to find before installing. In other words will the box continuously spin or is there limits inside where I need to find the middle of its limits?
Can anyone email me the procedure for changing out the rear steering gear box. I have manuals on disk but haven't found them again since I moved to the new house. Looks like you may have to disassemble the whole rear steer control arms and such. Trying to see how you slide the steering shaft...
I'd read that before reference the grease. I'm trying to think of a reason that would be bad ! Can Anyone explain the downside to filling a steering gearbox with grease ?
