Found them in a screwy ebay listing. I have not had time to unwrap them but a friend of mine inspected them before i bought them out in Az. I will note the prod. dates when I get a chance. There are 5 United and three goodyears. I will advise when I have the info.
Ok, jcap, they are pretty dry-rotted unfortunately, but i do have 10 of them so perhaps there are some best of the worst. It will take me a bit to get the new ones on so PM me with what your looking for exactly as far as condition.
Picked up my 8 GGoat tires I got from Ebay today at the greyhopund terminal in Akron, Ohio. Took 5 days to get here from Az. Cost $355.00 Fast, EZ and Cheap! I will give busfreighter.com high marks.

maddawg, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I justbought my second goat and just looooove them! lol I dont really know why cuz they are ugly, but they sure make people smile when u cruise down the street! Course I rode around in one in the USMC, so maybe i'm prejudiced.
I had to sell my first one in 2006, had it for 5 years, took me 6 years to be financially capable of getting another one. Even if you get one and it sits for awhile, at least you got it. They are around as we all know, usually just a matter of finding one conveniently located.
I had one before, sold, now have another one. They are alot of work, but worth all the smiles, odd looks and waves you get when you drive around in it. Get one.
Speaking of steering, are the seals used in the steering gearboxes tough to find or find a replacement that fits? Anyone know? My rear box is leaking pretty good.
After bleeding and adjusting you need to drive around, adjust again etc, till everythings finds it's equilibrium. Big flat blade works as well as anything. And there is no simple process just gotta keep at it
