If you mean the one in my photo...It was just the closest thing at hand! :-P I poured a bunch of lacquer thinner in the tank and didn't want it to run out all over the carb.
Hey all,
I picked this up over the weekend! I'm not sure how I did on it as far as price goes, I couldn't really find any others online, but it seems very complete! It even has a wrench that appears to have gone with it? and the manual crank.
I did a little research on them and turned up some...
Wow! I feel like I already need a building like that to house my stuff, but that is amazing.
Side note: Dave, your inbox is full. I need to ask you another import question
No, I have not traveled to see the vehicle, I have only seen it through photos. I have not actually purchased the vehicle yet, but have opted to wait until my paper work clears to make sure there will not be any problems. I'm working with an over seas broker.

Hey all,
I'm still doing a lot of research into buying a BRDM2. I'm pretty set on it, and I think I should be able to work out all of the details of the import. That being said, my main concern is that I really have no experience around these, and I have never been able to sit in or drive one...
Hello again,
Forgive me if I should have posted this in my other BRDM2 thread, but it seemed more effective to separate the two.
I'm thinking of purchasing once based on the photos and videos I have seen of these vehicles....but I have absolutely no hands on experience with them.
Does anyone...
I have not. I've never imported a vehicle before, so I'm not sure trying to figure out it with another person that possibly hadn't either would be a great idea.
