The buzzer idea is good, unless you are stuck waiting to turn at a light for a long time. Then I would think the buzzer would get really annoying really fast.
Not as standard equipment, no. The two front amber lights are only used as turn signals. Though I believe the M35A3 comes with them on the front and rear of the truck.
We had to install them here on our trucks to pass a safety check as well not to be harassed by the transport police.
I want a set for the M109A3 and the M35A2.
It would be nice if he actually replied to emails though. I have sent him 3-4 in the last couple of months. He only responded to the first one and told me to email him back in a week or two. All the others got no response.
I guess I will have to keep...
Man there really is nothing left.
I hope you got the trailer for cheap, as even if you don't want to bring it back to fully original, it is going to cost you a pretty penny to make it into a usable kitchen/catering trailer.
Either the military really stripped the rig, or the guy who you bought...
Only the second, green top, looks like an original top.
The other two are after-market or specially made due to the odd windows and sizing.
Like tmbrwolf said, the first one looks like a modified CCKW top (you can tell because it is not wide enough and a modification had to be made for the...

Yeah it sounds a bit odd.
How did your brother find out about it by the way if his email address was changed?
Well if you can't get any headway with GL, couldn't your brother just screw up the EUC application on purpose, causing the sale to become invalid?
Don't know, an idea.
Yup, what a haul. You got a lot of super nice stuff.
You even got a set of the new lighting kit AND the exhaust/heater kit for the MKT. Very lucky. I don't think anyone has a set of those.
Yes you have two different types of burners in your MKT. I find it a bit odd why there were both MBU's...
Looks good.
From what I can see, you have the new heater-fan system in the MKT. Great find.
Welcome to the MKT club.
Yup, Mike is the man. He should change his screen name to MikeMKTMan ;)
Yup lots of circuit breakers inside the truck, but no fuses. Some are well hidden too (up behind the dash). They can cause you a lot of problems if they are not functioning properly.
Nope, no fuse box in either the truck or the van box.
Like Maverick1701 said, there is only one fuse in the entire truck that I know of, and that is in the fuel pump.
Why are you asking? Is there is a problem with something?
As for lights in the back of the truck, there should be one wire...
Oh ya, you can come up with millions of ideas for the truck. But I found it really came into focus when I actually got the truck home and sat there looking at it. Lots of time was spent with a tape measure and taking detailed notes. That way when I either went on the internet, or to a store, I...
I second using Vintage Wiring of Maine. They do really awesome work, and the harnesses they make look better than NOS. They can also add in extra wiring into the harness if you want to add other accessories such as lights.
We got one for our M37 and it was super easy to install as they even...
Oh ya, if you are doing all of that, you will need to go with the 12v alternator. When you said that you wanted to run stuff off 12v, I thought you just meant a few lights, and maybe something like a GPS.
Good luck with the install!
I bought mine at NAPA. Commercial truck batteries. #31-110S
1125CCA / 1260CA
They are more expensive than regular car batteries, but they get the deuce started on the first try every time. The are also great on those -20F days we get up here in the winter.
