    Manually operated glow plug question???

With how easy they are to burn out and pita to take out when swollen. I would get a few of those block heater pads, or splice in the cooling system to swap spit with a running engine.

    Manually operated glow plug question???

They'll swell. I don't think it'll be as effective as a block heater.

    M998 stalling at highway speeds

Fuel pump is mechanical. One would do a flow and pressure test before replacement. Replace the fuel filter and report back.... Have you been running a winter blend of bio diesel/reg diesel? That will clog a previously clean filter rather quick

    Military or civilian cable splice

My brother owns a franchise of ABB. The wiring he turns out is beyond par with what some pfc can replicate. With that said it looks like standard heat shrink. Could be either. But I would say that repair is within standard.

    Siezed engine removal.

hmm that's one way to do it. One of the vendors here sells take outs ( i think they're around 2,400). I even think retired war horse has some 6.2's??? If you're looking to go on the cheap, throw in a used 6.2. Have some money to spare; buy a GEP 6.5. Your use I wouldn't worry about the 6.5 turbo.
