Truck looks good, what lift did you end up going with?
With all the lifts I found, it will be on the average of $500-$700 for a decent 4" lift . . . when I do go that route I'll probably go 37's
So to everyone with a duece or over 4 wheels on their MV . . . what do you use them for?
Where do you take them? . . . 4 wheelin'?
Let's see some pictures of these things getting dirty, I haven't had mine long enough but maybe after this weekend!
I'm in your same situation and I've been asking around about gearing. Everyone I talk to says if I put bigger tires on it then I would gain some top end speed. With the stock tires, she only likes to run about 50-55 max. I'm looking for some 35's so I can hopefully get to 60-65 top end speed...
What size lift and tires did you put on that thing? Looks really good . . . I'm looking at putting 35's on my M1008 with no lift. Just gonna trim the fenders.[thumbzup]
Nice! My daily driver at the moment is the CUCV!!! and in the summer . . . well this thing8-)
Man, I just started this thread this morning . . . I didn't realize there would be so many awesome military rides out there! Thanks for all the nice comments from everyone. I hopefully will have some wheelin' photos soon that I can post up.
Keep those photos coming!!! Has anyone restored...
Hello, I'm fairly new to this forum being I just purchased my first 4x4 vehicle ever, and managed to get a pretty bada$$ machine the first time around. Here are a couple pictures of my new to me M1008 . . . please post any and all pics your military trucks dirty or clean!!
This is a great...
Where is everyone getting their solar panels? I just purchased a m1008 and would like to check into getting one of these. Anyone else had a problem with their ignition switch sticking when they start up? Thanks,
