gringeltaube,
Thanks so much!!! I was thinking it needed to be pretty big to keep from falling out.
If you don't mind me asking, what is gringletaube? Sounds like a great magical, mystical beast!!
Thanks again. Now if I can find one local.
My PTO is missing the poppet ball for the shifting rail. I have tore apart some old bearings trying to find one that will work but all were too small.
Does anyone know where I can possibly find one local and have any information on the correct size? I have no clue how the size is determined...
M1075 was nice enough to not only help me recover my new "parts" Deuce, but also allowed me to use his "Super Nice" M915A1! It was a quick down & back recovery with it! M1075 followed me back in his CUCV Blazer and assisted with the steering when we made some sharp turns.
He was right on my...
I have drill that weekend or I would be there. That is one of my favorite parades! My girls had a great time too! Just bring loads and loads of candy!!!!:grd:
I just helped M1075 move a couple of his. I agree with the above however you do need some weight on the 5th wheel! We were running bobtailed and it was ruff!:x
I watched some show a couple nights age, I think it was named Motor City Mechanics. Looked like a spin off of Monster Garage. Anyway they took a duece:evil: and a corn combine to make a monster moble corn roaster.
It was sad to see them take a torch to good ole "Steel...
I agree with jasonjc, that nut is a pain!!! Usually can't turn it by hand and tuff to get a wrench on it. There is also one bolt that mounts the E-brake handle to the floor, it is tuff to get also. It is missing a lot of times because mechanics didn't want to mess with putting it back...
I started to buy that very one but took a trip to the local salvage and got lucky! I just took a tape measure and looked for the most HD looking one that was 34" wide and gave the most drop. I still needed a 9" drop to get my trailer level. I would like to hear more on this one also. I have...
I'm not a big fan of "Bobbing", I'm a purist what can I say. But on this method, I like it! Seems to be an easy way to do it and more importantly to me, no donor deuce for front springs!:-D:-D:-D Now you're only effecting a donor trailer and not only just using the bed of the trailer, you can...
The proverbial "check is in the mail"!!! :-D:-D Or will be soon. We did not have to be present at some secret location to collect this one.
I still want to know who beat us???? I'm not sure how or when the official anouncement will be made.
GOOD NEWS!!!!:-D
It's not official yet so don't go bragging to the "Model A" club just yet. A little birdie told me that we took 2nd place, which means $200!!!:-D:-D
So I'm going on a shopping spree! Just kidding, I would like to put this towards some professional signs...
