    Just an additional thought: the oil stains on the right frame also can come from your crank case vent, which apparently has no rubber hose attached. You might want to put a "slobber tube" on it, so it wont blow the oil fumes all over the frame and the starter. Cheers, Mark

    I have a few pictures of deuces with amber headlights in service, see below. I myself managed to get hold on two amber sealed beams made by Westinghouse, which AFAIK are still to be bought in the States when you search by the Westinghouse number code. Only drawback: they are 12 Volt types...
