The D-turbo hardly does whistle. Sometimes you hear it a little spooling up or down. My deuce has a C turbo, and my friends deuce has a D, and there is a huge difference as far as the sound is concerned. Subjectivly I don't feel any difference in power or consumption between the two. Great...

ACE, sorry, its 01-27-10094 all right. According to the VIN article the 27 indicates a m36, which is definitly not the right designation for the vehicle. At least I know what that hole is for now! Danke schön! Mark

Just an additional thought: the oil stains on the right frame also can come from your crank case vent, which apparently has no rubber hose attached. You might want to put a "slobber tube" on it, so it wont blow the oil fumes all over the frame and the starter. Cheers, Mark

Hi group, I'm busting my knuckles to get that $%&%! mbc out. The TM says to remove the break line and the socket, remove the 4 bolts (that devil-third bolt was missing already ;-) ), slide the mbc through the hole in the frame backwards and tilt it downwards and remove it. So far so good! My...

I have a few pictures of deuces with amber headlights in service, see below. I myself managed to get hold on two amber sealed beams made by Westinghouse, which AFAIK are still to be bought in the States when you search by the Westinghouse number code. Only drawback: they are 12 Volt types...
