You don't need a muffler, in a few years your ears will adjust to it and you won't hear it any more:roll: or anything for that fact. By the way congrats.
Just wondering because I work in a Tool & Die shop and we do all sorts of custom machining on peoples auto parts from time to time. We have all of the fancy stuff you'd ever need, however I don't know what is involved in it.
Sorry for asking a stupid question, but how do you resurface a flywheel? Is it just as simple as roughing it up with a sanding pad on a grinder? Just a guess from looking at a picture.
:ditto:the vent on top of the Tcase was plugged up on mine and as the case warmed up a little the pressure built up and started pushing oil out of everywhere possible.
A word of warning about Aervoe some of the guys have had problems with it fading pretty bad and actually turning pink if it spends alot of time out side. Some people have no problems with it and some do.
First off welcome to SS. Secondly you said that you want a deuce as a base for an RV, if that is the case you should look into buying an M109 as they already have an enclosed box on the back and alot of guys have/are converting them into campers.
I'd be up for that, I've been thinking about adding a ring mount and 1919 to my deuce whenever the money comes back my way. Only thing though I would need to keep them both
:ditto:
The title I got with my deuce said 1948 which it's definately not. I've come to find that the M35 was not produced until 1952, as far as I've heard. You might want to check up on that.
Those are some seriously heavy duty nerf bars. They definately go with the truck. thanks for the pics, be sure to keep us up to date, great job so far!
If you look at this thread there are illustrations of what a bypassed FDC looks like.
