    I want a deuce

I know where you are coming from, I had to sell my truck in order to buy a big green truck. It's sold and I'll have my truck in less than a week!

My Bobbed Deuce is almost done

I would put your truck up against the one that extreme 4x4 is doing. There is no way they can match the detail that has gone into this build.

    1/2 track deuce

My dad drove a deuce in Korea and I remember him mentioning tire chains that wrapped both sets of duels on each axle, kinda making the deuce a half track. Has anyone else ever heard of such a thing?

    My new M1009!

has anyone ever cut out and changed the centers on the HMMWV wheel? I think they would look great on there but it seems like it would require difficult mods to fit them.

    My new M1009!

M1009 is six lug wheel, it would take some work to fit the HMMWV wheel. My understanding is the M1008 just needs a spacer in the front as it is already an 8 lug hub. Great looking rig!!

Any one knows of a M35 bed on a CUCV?

the wheelbase on that dodge looks really short. It's got a stack on it, was it maybe an aircraft tug?

Any one knows of a M35 bed on a CUCV?

I like the idea of a dropside M1008. If you build one I'd love to see it. The M101 bed would look cool too. Build one of each and take lots of pics so I can copy the one I like best:grin:

    fifth wheel attachment

I've seen what you are referring to in commercial semi tractors...All that I have seen do not have a front differential. I'm not sure but I was under the impression that they attached to the fifth wheel at the front axle of the towed tractor. I'm not sure how that would work with a 6x6

What transmission does my 1009 have?

The 700r4 is very expensive and unreliable and the th400 is less expensive and tough. I would look for a th400 for your Blazer. The last time I shopped for a 700r4 the best price I could find was $1200 for a used one. I found it more cost effective to buy another truck with a 5 speed manual to...

    H2 Wheel questions

I like the H1 wheels better. I like the military look better than the civvy look of the alloy wheels. Your CUCV looks tough!
