"Ferroequinologist"....funny!!
I've lived in Rock Hill since 1988, and have never known that there was a railroad museum in Winnsboro!! I've been to the one in Spencer, NC, once, but that's it. I'll have to bring the kid down there. He LOVES trains!! (What 4 year old boy doesn't??)
With the Duramax, I'll bet it was!! The Duramax/Allison combination is pretty hard to beat! Not to mention the creature comforts in that series of truck are REALLY nice, too!
Will do! I certainly don't want to bring my wife and son where there's a whole lot of drinking and such. I don't mind people having a beer or two, but I don't care to have my family around folks who've had way too many, ya know! I'll dig through the pics to see what all kind of fun happens!!
Thank you NDT and Stonepicker. That's what I was looking for!
And thank you, too, Porky, for politely filling me in on the Advanced Search. I still have a LOT of playing to do on this site to figure things out!
Maybe it's because I'm new, but so far my research on this site hasn't turned up anything on a CUCV II. Everything that I search for here just talks about the M1008/M1009 line of CUCVs. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I dunno.
Has anybody run across a CUCV II in real life? The only ones that I've seen have been Matchbox toys. But I've seen pics of them on other MV sites, so I didn't know if these things really existed or if they were wannabes.
Hmmmmmmm........OD on my Civic......THAT would be an original paint scheme for a Civic!! However, I don't think a set of NDT's will fit under it. Although I've talked about putting a Pinto body on a small 4x4 chassis before! [thumbzup]
I'll have to keep those dates and places in mind. Hopefully I'll have a job by then :?, and I may be able to take some time off! I'll take it that these are deep woods camping adventures? Do they tend to be "family friendly", or does everybody have a few and howl at the moon? (I ask because I...
Ok....noob questions here, but where are the closest GL sites near me, which is near Charlotte, NC? I know that Warner-Robbins AFB has one, but are there others, and what kind of results have ya'll had out of them?
Thanks!!
Hi all!!
Just wanting to say hey from the GREAT State of South Carolina. While I don't (yet) own a MV, I am interested in the M1009, and I was looking for info on it when I came across this site. While I'd REALLY love a Willys Jeep, I realize I'd have to give up the left side of my male...
