    David Ahl's M37 Restoration Guide

All of this is true, not a great book, I got my copy, pre-paid and my first subscription to MVM from Dave $20 while attending my first Aberdeen Rally.

68 years new... Hello all from the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

Welcome, your on the right track. A word of caution using the hand-crank, personally I never used one, even on my 8N tractor. I read that wrapping your thumb around the crank can recoil and do harm to your digits!

    1963 M37 - Pre-start checklist

The smallest one I saw was 12. I think if you reach out, they might be able to accommodate you for a smaller harness?

    R.I.P.--LIFER--Charles Briggs

I needed to do this. I remember when Charles passed, I never chimed in as I should have! Now re-reading these notices in "His Thread" I was wondering why no one had posted a picture of Charles's pink HUMVEE? I know we all gave him a lot of grief about it, but hey, it's your vehicle, paint it...

What did you do to your M37 today?

That is great, I spent weeks finding the correct screw, even then hand grinding them to remove the crown on each screw head. Rivets are perfect.

What did you do to your M37 today?

I just guessing, but I think my starter has bit the dust, my truck sat for the better part of 2 years.

What did you do to your M37 today?

I tried to start my truck w/o ignition turned on and no fuel, just to turn the crank and move some oil around before adding fuel to the system.

What did you do to your M37 today?

What I did on my M-37 today, I drained all of the fuel, blew out all of my fuel lines from the tank to the filter and back to the filter/12 volt pump, a mess ensued! after clean up, I attempted turn-over w/o ignition lit, my surprise, starter spun, disappointed, I redid everything I had already...

    Steering box rubber line.

It should run up the entire steering shaft, that's what the coiled wire is. I have an installed pic in my profile here. I should give credit/kudos to John and his crew at Midwestmil.org
