Cummins 12v into my CUCV
Thought i'd start the tread on my journey to towing 14,500lbs. 12/19/24- purchased 1993 5.9L Cummins with everything but the trans adapter and flywheel. 12/20/24 - realized the Th400 probably won't handle the torque.- mtperkins

LS swap your M1008
Has anyone successfully completed an LS swap? I have a 4l80e from a gas truck. I am thinking the 4.8L LS engine is cheap to find. any links on here to posts where this has been done?- mtperkins

37x 12.50R 17 tire upgrade on CUCV
Starting this thread because i am venturing into the tire swap game. Purchased: 4 ProComp 1069 rims 17x9 with 8x6.5 bolt pattern. Wheel centers are 130 MM 4 37x12.50R17 Mud tires 10 ply from EBAY. I plan on uploading pictures to help fellow CUCV fans. thanks, Matt- mtperkins

CUCV meltdown- Learning the hard way
So my wipers were not working last winter and i found a burned out fuse holder. While i was under the dash i found a accessory wire unhooked that i thought went into the fuse box. Well i plugged that in and i ended up with smoke under the hood. Unhooked it fast. Then my glow plug light would... -
