Just got off the phone with Jason (aka jh1990) and he told me about your post. Unfourtional that was not me you saw. I don't have tags or insurance on the trunk. In Pa. anteque tags are only $75.00 and are permentent, but would have to keep the insurance up. and the funds are needed other places...
hairba11 your build will get you close to the look of the ones that Truck Lite makes for the govt. Hopefully not at the same cost. I have not seen any pricing lately but when I first saw them in the Truck Lite catalog I checked with our supplier at work who gives us real nice pricing becouse of...
Welding depot .com SuperFlex2/0 welding cable black $3.30 per ft. red is $3.47 per ft. Don't know how shipping would be on something like that but if you shop around you should be able to do better then $7.00 per.
Great job, looks like alot of planning and patioans, cutting the backs out of those sealed beams looks like a real challange. And drilling all the holes in your LED mount, nice job of swiss cheese making. I think someone posted this here before, but this is something I had thought of doing...
I had my brother pull my 105 out of Letterkenny with his F350 which had no problem at all with it, that is a pretty beefy pick-up with a power stroke and 4wheel disc brakes, going and stopping was not a big deal. We used magnetic lights that my inlaws use on there car when there tow behind there...
If you do a lot of digging and cross over leg work you can come up with some parts like poppop said NAPA or other parts houses can get them, most would not stock them so you would have to wait anyway, and pay through the nose. Like the wheel cyl. are the same as used on if I remember a Hyster...
It's been a while ago now but I got the SF97 showing the govt. transfer to GL and a FL. dealer reconsignment to me. PA.'s dmv had no problem at all with that, as a mater of a fact I used a messagure service to send in to Hbg. and got my PA. title just like any other transfer.
All you are doing...
O.K. I did miss something very important, the A3. no wonder I was lost was not thinking about anything related to the CTIS. Sorry, but at least there are some guys out there that are on the ball and might be heading you in the right direction.
That would be the advantage of some sort of self contained removeable set up.
You would be able to use it only when needed, but then pull it off and be back to the origanal look and use.
I agree that what ever you would do you would not want to change anything that would be a permanet mod...

Hope this link works. This is what I think the general idea you would try for only with a shorten deuce bed and a king pin to enter the jaw of your fith wheel.
I might be missing something here but I have to ask, what wheel weight are you refurring t. A wheel weight like would be hooked on the tire rim when a tire is balanced or a weight that would be welded to the brake drum when just the drum is balanced as some are when made.
Don't mean to sound...
Check out a heavy duty truck parts house. that type exhust valve set up is used on dump trucks to heat the bed to keep wet loads from freezing in the bed and hanging up. Not sure of the pipe sizes that would be avalable.
You are very lucky that they didn't just pull our antique tag on the spot and make you have to get a tow home.
An antique tag in Pa. can't haul anything. Some people think that "they" won't bother you, but I have seen "them" pull a tag on the spot from someone that was using an antique as a...
There is a thread that shows a very simple lock bar for the fuel cap. I don't remember who posted it, but it was easy to fab and may not be one hundred precent, but would keep the average punk out of your fuel tank, too take out or almost as important adding unwanted additives.
You did not say where you got the truck from but by your location as Central Pa. I will assume that it was here in Pa.
Your paid invoice from GL should show that you paid the 6% Pa sales tax and when you fill out the MV1 you show the tax credit as already paid. You will not have to pay the tax...
I think DDoyle has it right, the biggest problem is other buyers that are free to roam the lot unsuppervised.
Some locations might have units that still can have accest to items but alot of locations are off main areas and only GL controled.
Tight restrictions on accest would mean exceat...
