My Bad, it was an M998 1989 s/n 58689. From the parts manual, I think it is 57K3512 for the kit, and 12176301-01 for the caliper. Was hoping to get that confirmed
I hear good things about the Camotek boxes, but they are manual, and the button is on the box under the dash. They do make a relocation kit for the button, but you still have to hold the button. Will eventually have to look into this when the box eventually goes. Thank you
prestart light comes on, then goes off. Then try to start and nothing (no clicks or clunks). Batteries are good but 2 years old. Is it time for a new start box? It is only a 3 years old. I DO HAVE A KEYED IGNITION SWITCH.
This just started as the weather got cold
batteries are 2 years old and were supposed to be 2 year batteries. I rotated last year, starts fine. Belts look like they have some play. Was thinking they may be slipping when engine is revved. Can this happen?
gauge is usually in the green (a little past the little white reference line). During kickdown, the gauge goes to yellow for a few seconds, then goes almost to red, then back to normal. 200A dual voltage alternator with triple belts.
Is this ok, or is something about to break?
Wasn't titled in WV, I had to title it myself in NJ. On the bill of sale, says 1994 M998. NJ had no clue what this thing was so they titled it as "1994 AM/M994 Humvee"....LOL WTF?
