Can I use a squeeze bulb or other fluid pump on the output tube to fill the filter / manual prime? Will it come up through the lift pump?

It sounds liked filling the sensor hole should be the first step since the sensor is wet, everything worked before opening the filter, and there were no fuel leaks at the base before. Do you think I should test it to make sure the sensor hole is were it is sucking air (not letting it prime)...

Markg, the truck was running again before this. I drove it around and let it idle for about half an hour. ill try to include a picture of the wet foam on the sensor.

Markg, I closed the bleed screw and cranked for 5 sec. Opened and nothing came out. Repeated twice more. Nothing. Drain is also closed.

And yes #15 looked dirty.

It didn't come out. I just noticed it when I took out the old filter.
