I may be able to get about 30 to 40 tires for around 45$ apiece if I buy all of them. I only need 7 or 8. They have 75% to nearly new tread. If enough people are interested I'll see what I can work out.
1967 Kaiser M35A2 wo/w 0125-28606 matches frame #s.
1953 Studebaker M108 M33399 also matches frame #s.
Also one quick question, were the VIN's on all of the 50's trucks in front of the stering box?
A 38in tire should fit with out a lift unless the front springs are very tired. A 12.50 38 will work on the stock wheels.M37's work very well on trails with stock springs & 36 or 38in tires. I have a 63 B1 and have watched others on several trail rides and they seem to go places...
RE: stuck valve
I checked the compression on one of my 230's cold this afternoon and got between 95 and 105 psi on all cylinders. Are you sure your gauge is good ? It should run with 1 stuck valve. If it's firing even if the distributor is out of time it should pop, spit, cough or something if...
RE: stuck valve
I know from experence a 230 will run with 1 or more valves stuck and the 251 is just a bigger version. I have poured Marvel Mystery oil in them to the point of almost flooding them out when running to un stick them on several engines. On a flat head a stuck valve can't hit any...
I have a 1981 4 door with a short box, Dana 60 front and rear, NP205, and 727 that belonged to the air force originally. I haven"t been able to find much on them.
Kenny, I allready changed to a mechanical gage because when I first started it the orignal gauge didn't come up right away.I let it run for about an hour this afternoon and it had between 15 and 20 psi at idle and climbed as engine speed increased. Thanks I'll check the TM section.
How do I get did of the (00) after my user name? I have tried changing the private message settings under "profile" with out any success. Or is it something I can't change?Respectfully Yours, New and confused.
I bought a 1967 Kaizer M35 parts truck to use as a doner for a multifuel conversion. I changed the fuel filters and flushed out the lines and it started ! It's a D turbo and after I ran it long enough to get it to operating temp the oil pressure is between 15 and 20 pounds at idle , is this...
Kenny, what you did is just upgrade it like it would have been in the service. I think from what I've gathered reading the posts your engine was toast and from what checking around I've done rebuilding the REO gasser may cost as much as a multi conversion. The engine in my truck now is very...
He sent me a link to it. I haven't started yet , it will be the biggest job like that I have tried up to this point.I have most of a 1967 Kaiser M35 with a D turbo and air shift to use for parts.
