I would like to know how many civilian deuces have ever been reported stolen. It wouldn't be too hard for the cops to find I would think. Maybe some LEOs on this site could provide us with some thoughts??? I know I have never heard of a stolen deuce!!
There is a place called "Extreme Off Road Equipment" They are in NC. I have no idea what they are like to deal with, and I am in no way making any type of endorsement.... They offer a windshield that is one piece. I remembered seeing it, and I thought about this thread...
Sweet ride Graham!!! Looking at the price...you bought it for around $96,000 less than what the Government paid for it new.... It really pays to let someone else take a hit on the depreciation!!! Definitely a cool truck. Looks to be in good shape! Congratulations!!!
I scrolled through all of his pics.....amazing. We are all lucky to have people of his caliber protecting us every day. Those photos show the more "real" side of Iraq. No bathroom to shave in....using the hood of the truck...sand sand and more sand..... etc. Thank you, doesnt seem to be...
I have a spray in bedliner on the rear of my pick-up. I am really pleased with it. I shopped around and found that the "Line-X" brand appeared to be the most durable. The only drawback is that you can not install it yourself. I took my truck in and they had it done in about 4 hours. They spray...
That's one amazing story. Who would imagine you would find a tank in a lake....and have it be in such great condition??!!?? It makes you wonder what else might be in there, or any other lake..... The Loch Ness Monster might actually be real!!!!
The new top looks pretty sweet..... I think that it would be ready for a trip to the beach!!! It definitely makes it look different! Did you keep the hard top for emergencies??
I don't know if you have already gotten it taken care of, but I am in Richmond Va, and will be going up on Friday. PM me and let me know. or email me jccease@comcast.net. Will it fit in the back of a Chevy shortbed pickup with a tool box in it??
I have driven a few civilian trucks on sand, suburbans, blazers, jeeps, full size pickups...etc... If you drop the air down to around 25 on most vehicles you can go almost anywhere... Sometimes the sand is hard and you don't need to drop any pressure, but sometimes it is soft and you have to...
I am sorry to hear that you couldn't get your truck. I am by no means any type of expert, but... Would it be possible to unhook your drive shafts from the axles to the transmission, and then pull it that way? The wheels should roll freely I would imagine, and then you could get it home using a...
I know that titling of a vehicle has come up in the past. I don't think Ihave seen anything about obtaining a title in Virginia. Have you looked into that as far as DMV issuing a title? Will it be difficult? Blazer looks great, it's exactly what I want. How "central" Va are you?? I am near...
the only thing that they cook in the oil is french fries. It seems like it should stay fairly clean. They are a regional chain (?) here in Va. If I had a diesel I would definitely consider the bio-diesel. The only thing that makes me nervous is having to modify the fuel tanks with heating...
