thank you for the positive remarks.
I received this kit in its origainal crate. Manufacture date 2007, and the cover was rolled up the way I showed. I was asked to show how to do this right out of the crate that is the angle I was going for. This is the first time using the new all in one...
Now start strapping down the front flap to the bed. then from the front work back to the rear of the truck tying down the straps to the bed hooks while positioning the cover. The straps on this cover are like rubber bungee cords and can be stretched into place but be careful the plastic hooks on...
This is the install I did 9 days ago. The TM's are helpful. The diferance between the two TMs is the style of cover:
TM9-2320-209-10-4, Section VII, #2-14, page 2-54 shows the older style cover with the end covers separate from the main.
TM9-2320-361-10 (2006), Chapter 2, 0035 00, page 0035 00-1...
I just did an install last weekend on a drop side kit on my m35a2. I did take pix but will not have time to post until this weekend. The drop side cargo cover kit will also work on the non drop side bed. The kit I got was dated 2007. It had fiberglass uprights that went inside the troop seat...
Tennessee Colonel is right. turbine oil will work to keep the cable lubed up. You can also use a light oil like for air tools that will also work. if you can't find either you can mix wd-40 with regular oil and use that to but that will be harder to funnel into the cable.
wd-40 is not a lubricant, but will work to loosen things up. the "wd" stands for water displacement and "40" is the 40th attempt. you will still need to use an actual lube afterwards to keep things loose.
sorry about not explaining better. Trucks painted od green did have the stars on the
door and also had the reg # on the hood (both white in color). that was changed before the chevy cucv's came
out. sence the vehical is already painted od green (not carc woodland green) I was just
trying to...
all cucv's came out with carc green only. the od green being fased out in the early 80s.
the cucv units came online around mid 1984.
i think the od green had a star on the door and the reg. number was on the hood.
dittle,
The horn is inop. You'd think that would work, ha-ha. Sometimes if the horn button is pushed with the master off it will sound but very weak. I'll have to chase this one out, just havent had time yet. I have an air horn set for it. Thinking of adding a switch to the "dash" one position...
When I was serving in the ARMY I had the privilege of operating an M109a2 for my squad and in the passenger seat was my superior, a CW4. Why he picked me and my truck I don't know, never asked. He was a little intimidating to say the least. Now I get to drive for the new (old) boss, the wife...
Thanks for the responses.
My teeth are ok, but it was awhile before I could sit down again. Sorry for all the miss spelling, I'll try to fix that.
One more tidbit,
My Allstate agent sent me a proof of insurance for the trip. After getting back I looked more closely at the info on the doc and...
Ok here it goes,
I won the auction from GL on a M35a2 wo/w. I was altered at the time of my bid. I never thought I would win. I was watching the action and someone got right to my max bid but no joy, it was mine after waiting about 30 minutes on overtime from GL. What did I get myself into? How...

I was able to get a add on kit NOS cucv antenna bracket, a while back. The package included all info as to the location and how to do the mount. In the paperwork also showed the backing plate. I don't know what I did with the paperwork, but I'll look for it after next week if I can find the...
I was stationed at the National Training Center at Ft Irwin California in the late 80's early 90's and my unit repainted all the equipment desert colors. One unit used tan base with green and black. Another unit used a green base with tan and black. The two units I was assigned to, had there own...
