But it has a custom fully boxed frame. I would be more afraid of someone's project that has had a bunch of frame welding done and a bunch of different colors of paint on the cab, frame, motor, etc.
I like how it has power steering. The extra cooling fan worries me, maybe a band-aid for a...
Yep, I read a grade 8 bolt that is 3/8"-16 x 7/8" long. Pretty simple and no need for the McMacter-Carr description. But at least you have all of the info needed and then some, way then some.
Wow, truly an amazing story and Man. I have no words to describe how grateful I am to live in a country with Sarge and men and women like him. The best story I have ever read.
I too showed it to my wife ans said we should get one. Surprisingly she responded not with a why or are you crazy, but WTH do you carry on it :)
Sure looks like a really cool piece of history and equipment.
I know Viair makes 24v compressors, I just don't remember what he said...Ian talks a lot (I know it's his job). The compressors look like a 480 but I am not sure if those come 24v. I am sure if they are not listen on the website, they would still make them for the show.

On the note of the bags, I feel like...
I am still leery of the "display" authenticity of driving it to and from work and for fun weekend drives. I guess before I help this thread get cluttered, see what others have done. From my reading of the FL states and not assuming that driving in traffic is a public display I would say the...
I like that setup. It is just a huge stretcher that goes in the back of an ambulance. The legs can be made stout easily and a few heavy duty caster for half of the load and no need to get electric or hydraulic jacks and worry about all of that weight on 4 posts that will try to travel up and...
24 Since January...I was born the morning that the Challenger blew up. It seems as if that day helps people realize how old they are when they remember where they were and what they were doing. No MV YET though.
Just curious, how about those who are new to the MV world and are yet to own something big and green? We don't have a camper yet and June is way to hot to tent camp, so we might make a day visit if that would be ok. Any ideas for a SS FL new guy?
