You can top out at 55-56 mph (downhill :razz:), but I was much more comfortable at 46-48 mph (approx 1950-2000 rpm). I also got decent mileage, approx 10 mpg. A tow bar is a great idea, I'd love to have one! Andy

Jim, Skip Hwy 50, take 70 instead. The trucks are much easier to drive in a straight line, and if you do break down, access to services and help is MUCH more available along 70. Andy

In the past 3 weeks, I've driven (4) M818's home. (3) started on the lot and (1) needed a jump. I picked them up from the lot in Jefferson City, MO. The GL rep, Mike Snell, was FANTASTIC to deal with, he was very helpful. Unfortunately, I was not able to show up until 2:30 in the afternoon...

I just picked up 2 M818's this afternoon, and Mike was very helpful. 100 degree day, and he was more then willing to help get a few trucks started and schedule my future pick ups. Definitely a Class Act, and I am very pleased with my first vehicle purchase from GL. Andy

I'm in the market for approx (20) 16.00x20 XZL's. So far, it seems like hundreddollarman is fairly reasonable, but is there anybody near St. Louis, so I could avoid freight charges? Thanks, Andy

Where can you find the o-rings? When bought fron the gov't, do the wheels come with the o-rings and valve stems or are they bare? Thanks, Andy
