I've bought stuff from Ft.Sam Houston in Texas to Ft. Drum in New York and never had a problem with GL personnel assisting in doing a load out. This goes for whether I personally do the pickup or have someone else do it for me.
I know LMC is just one supplier for CUCV body parts, but after buying my first M1009 the other day, I started to search for other suppliers and would like to share what I found. Here are the links:

SOLD!?? GL just won a contract renewal. I don't think so, not with all the governmental regulatory cr*p and approvals the seller, GL, and the prospective buyer would have to go through on short notice to complete the sale,
Just my 2cents
Call Kevin at FT Drum and schedule a pick-up time and date. You need to take a paid invoice with you when go to pick them up. You do not get a "physical" EUC. That stays with DLA in Battle Creek. Once you get a paid invoice from GL, it means you've been EUC cleared.
Good luck on the recovery...
Picked up a M103A3 at FT. Drum a month ago. The GL yard manager didn't even bat an eye that I didn't have a tag for the trailer. Just watch out for LEOs on the way home.
Good luck and just my 2cents
Bad idea for a non-grease monkey to get a deuce
Took me 2 years of reading and asking questions before I bought my deuce. GLAD I did it. Read all the TMs, ask questions, go slow, and have patience. Just :grd:
If I'm not mistaken, on the work bench on the left side, in picture 10097966.jpg, I think you scored two brand new slave cables with out plugs. These were the same boxes in my M109A3 when I picked her up. NICE SCORE and the truck too!!!!!

What are the first two digits of the VIN - this number, or lot number, can give you a really good approximation of the YOM
You know what? Go ahead pick a YOM, who at a DMV is really going to know, especially with a deuce. You can also have a data plate made to match what you put on the SF97...
Is GL going to reimburse me for the interest on my credit card charge between the time I pay for the item and the EUC clears. Could I also get apiece of the interest they're going to make on my money when they charge my credit card and EUC approval. At least they could do is waive the SF97...
Re: RE: what I need to do to pick up a truck
When I bought my deuce in Texas, just walked into the county clerks office, asked for a 30 day temp with my insurance card and 5 minutes later had my temp tag. You have to ask the state DMV where you buy your deuce, what the regulations are...
