Welcome from Cambridge On. I brought an M35A2 bag with no problem. as mentioned make sure all of the paperwork is in order. Verify info on both border websites. Good luck...it will work out fine!
Actually an "urgent" or "help" section is a great idea. For issues that need immediate attention of for vehicles that are stuck in precarious locations? Ya.
Hello All:
I just wanted to offer some assistance with regards to what you need to check on your vehicle (any vehicle) before you head out for a ride. There may be some regulatory differences between jurisdictions but here is the enforced standard from CVSA:
LEVEL I North American Standard...
Most thieves take very little time in the actual 'commission of the offense' so something that will hold them off for a few minutes will usually (not always) send them on their way. Unless you are specifically targeted most crimes are crimes of opportunity. Having said that MV's could be...
This is an old thread but I'll bring it back to life.
I legally brought an M35 over to Canada with no hassles at all. Just as mentioned earlier make sure your paperwork is up to date and that you give the US Customs the required notice.
Mind you me being a LEO helped a bit. [thumbzup]
I'm not sure of your purchase details but this is just a small bump in the road. I'm sure that once you figure this out you will be very happy with your rig.
Good luck!
Stop now! Run away fast! Your partner will hate you, you will spend all your time on SS website, your bank account will be empty! :) Congratulations!!! I've driven everything military and finally bought an M35A2. Can't wait to get driving but way too much snow up here.
Best wishes!
Where I come from 10" of snow is quite a bit to plow at once. I would think that any vehicle would be stressed plowing more than that so it is probably a good rule of thumb to keep it to that.
Trucks can be replaced but people cant. Sorry to hear of the unfortunate incident and hopefully it will work out in the end. I was hit by a front end loader before Christmas and my van was written off so I'm having a similar experience.
Good luck!
OK yes thanks. Is there a certain point in the air system where a tech would block the line prior to removing the solenoid? Whoever took it off didn't just cut and bend the airline, they did it properly.
In my M35A2 the solenoid was removed. I have a new one but I noticed there is no air coming out of the open air line where the old solenoid used to be. I have air at the connection inside the cab. Any pointers?
Thanks,
Dan.
