Ok good. We all need the moral support to help our tired old military vehicle huff and puff up that hill. I'll probably be rolling into Cabelas between 1800-1830.
Oh boy, only days left. Lots of stuff to do to get ready. Anyone wanna convoy out Friday evening? I will be leaving from exit 40 on 78 westbound in NJ around 1630hrs. A bunch of us still meeting at Cabelas as usual for the long haul up the hill?
Stay on the main trails, and you'll be fine. We run basic green trails that really any stock 4wd vehicle can do. Sometimes there are offchutes or harder lines to run, but there is always a nice easy bypass on anything that may seem sketchy for some.
I'll definetly be there Friday and trailriding Saturday and Sunday with the M1031 maintenance truck. Maybe all the snow will be gone by then. Will most likely have 2 or 3 other cilvian vehicles going too. Leaving Newark area on 78 sometime Friday afternoon if anyone wants to join the convoy.

I can also meet up at Cabelas at 20:00 with two other vehicles in my party. I am getting on 78west at about exit 40 in NJ. Anyone wanna hook up and convoy somewhere between there and Cabelas, that let me know.
Wondered why I wasn't stopping like I should. Crawled under and found a severed line in the height sensitive proportioning valve jumper over the rear axle. Eh, just bypassed that whole mess. M1031's are usually a lot heavier than other CUCV's, so 100% breaking can't be a bad thing.
Well, I'm not sure where to put this post, but there seems to be a good gathering of people with knowledge in this one location. I have old Colman Barber governor control for my M1031. It works intermittently. Took it apart and find out there is a burnt up resistor on the circuit board. I think...
