I don't know how to speed up your blinkers, but I do know it's your front battery that runs your lights. Your back 2nd battery really is only used for 24v items. The front is used for all 12v.

Yes, that's what I meant essentially. It's not exactly the same kind of Diesel that GM put in their cars.

The M1009s are basiclly civilian Blazers with a few modifications. Namely being the engine, push gaurd, 24v starting system, and the blackout system are the only unique items. The rest are normal GM parts.

You could always put a boombox inbetween the front seats. That's my plan. :-D

Yea, like new car error codes, I just don't know if they're as accurate... or not accurate. My '04 Chevy Impalas onboard error thing is mechanicly challenged.

It’s a diagnostic system you plug in and it will tell you all about the engine. RPMs, etc etc.

I have a friend whos in an auto-shop class at his high school. He says he can get his teacher to install it as a class lesson or something like that. Does it take any other parts to install a locker? What size locker would fit on the stock axel?

I don't think I'm going to have the money to replace axels anytime soon. I was planning to just upgrade the gears, and swap out the Gov-lok. I'm not sure which diff I want. The open diff seems to be the poorest option for off-roading. The locking diff seems a little heavy duty for a daily...

I don't want to change much out to begin with. Gears to start, and if you reccomend swaping out a Gov-lok... what would work with stock drivetrain?

Does putting deeper gears into a M1009, such as 3.43s or 3.73s put any more/less strain on the Gov-lok?
