Yea I've grown to like the long bob, I originally was gonna cut the factory bed down but having to redo the troop seats and cargo cover. It sounded like more of a hassle then it's worth. The cargo cover is vinyl, I never seen a canvas one but see the end curtains for sale from time to time.
Not intentionally, the previous owner painted it that hideous green. Hoping to paint it in the spring, I just used rapco spray cans for the interior and was very pleased with the turn out. I will prolly go with them on the 383 carc green for the exterior.
Thanks really didn't want to build a steam box for this hopefully one time project. The cargo cover I believe is a standard issue, could just be the way the picture turned out but will look into it.
I tried the one in the picture you showed and it's too big for mine, MS3476L8-33s I believe is the correct connector but not 100% on that. The one I bought and tried was a PTO6A-12-3s and it was way to big
Yea it's the factory setup with the stakes that go into the troop seats, then the metal 90deg corners and then the bow goes in between. I had 2 broken ones and couldn't find any local oem ones and made these in about half an hour for $30
I recently purchased this light off e-bay and I knew it wasn't a bae light due to it not having the blue or red map light but it was cheap. It is made by a company in Italy called IMEAR-BS, you search that and nothing comes up. It has a 3 pin circular style plug (8-33) and has the three way...

Recently I picked up my m35a2 from a local and really don't know anything about the previous owner or where it came from. That being said I have found some unusual stuff all over the truck that I find really neat and interesting and was wondering what other members might have found on there...
The backing plate is deffinately easier to bolt on then weld (unless you pull the motor). Being said if you have access to the rienforcment plate or ways to make it, use it!!! Warning to those that have to drill and tap the hole I'm questioning, your best bet is to drill it for a 5/8 bolt to fit...
For anyone that runs into this problem on there earlier frames with the removable cross member. You have to measure 2.4375" from the fender support out towards the cab and 3.000" down from the top of the frame. It has to be relatively precise because your hole will be right between the rivet...
I got started on my power steering conversion over Christmas break. I've got it all torn apart and getting ready to put the frame rienforcment plate supplied from m35tom (great guy). It seems I have a removable front cross member so I notched the rienforcment plate to fit around that. Now the...
If someone can give me some dimensions off the wiper motor bracket that attaches the motor to the vehicle. Or possibly some pictures of where it bolts to and some good pictures of the bracket. Maybe someone has a bracket laying around?
Thanks Jay
Update: it is fuel coming out, I dissected the old one and like it was said before the seal was blown. I purchased the new injection pump off eBay. It was a little tight when I got it but used some oil and got it loosened up. Put it on the truck switched over all the fittings and fuel shut off...
