    Sound proofing, is it worth the money and time?

    In my opinion its worth it, but I only did the cab of my m1010, used dyanmat extreme in the doors and lined the cab floor with mega mat then covered it with the LMC rubber floor. I wouldn't spend the extra money on the dynamat again, the mega mat appeared to be the same thickness and material...

    fairing/storage project To answer your question Recovry4x4 the storage is accessed from inside the box where the a/c used to be. Fabbed everything painted white/dark green from scratch using mostly 16 ga and 1/8 steel. Wish there was pics berfore I painted everything, but was in a big hurry...

    Sounds like the 3.73 swap doesn't gain you mpg only mph! Must be these are heavy trucks for a stock 6.2? I still should be getting better though especially with the fairing, The best I've seen is 12-13 mpg driving nice. Unfortunatly I only took 1 trip with it stock so not much to compare it...

    I think I saw pics of your set up on here, we have a lot of similar ideas. What kind of mileage are you getting with your 3.73's? I am struggling to get 12mpg with mine 235/85/16 cooper at/3 averaging 55-60 mph Seems like it should be better.
