I am looking for part numbers for the wheel bearings on the M11A3 trailer. I saw this post that gave part numbers for a M101 and M101A1 trailer: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/trailers/27357-m101a1-parts.html#post646947
I read the TM-9-2330-202-14 manual and the part numbers are different...
I agree. I know about military red tape and would much rather avoid it. Also the longer it sits the odds that something may happen to my trailer or that parts may be swapped or dissapear go up. I need to get a day off from work next week.
The base is a 7 hour drive one-way. I am in for a...
I received a Paid in Full invoice for a trailer I won yesterday. The invoice says I need to pick up the trailer within 10 days of receiving the invoice. I thought I needed to submit a EUC for the trailer before picking it up. Do I? Also I want to get a plate for the trailer here in...
I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel. I think that will pull it.
BTW do I need to get a pintle hitch and riser? How much higher do I need to go to get the trailer level? I am trying to figure out which pintle hitch setup to buy.
These pictures are from the GL web site. The trailers they were selling were in excellent condition.
Now I need to get a pintle hitch for my truck. Seems like most people get them from Northern Tool. Anyone else have a better source?
What is the height of the lunette on a M101A2 when level? I am trying to figure out which pintle hitch I need to buy to tow one. Also does anyone know what size the tries are on these trailers?
Thanks
I am looking at some trailers in Barstow, CA. I live in Santa Cruz which is about a 7 hour drive. If anyone is going to Barstow and would be willing to take a look at the trailers I would appreciate it. It isn't practical for me to get down to Barstow for an inspection prior to bidding.
BTW...
I was asking about the rims because I can use the spare from my truck if I get a flat in the field. I also have on-board air on my truck so I can fill a tire if I need to. That may come in handy if I win a trailer.

Thanks for the replies. I saw that there is a Inspection/Load Out board. I'll post there to see if someone lives close to the base for inspection.
number9, is there a post that details how many 1156 and 97 bulbs are needed and where they go? Those are common bulbs. Do they fit the stock...
I am thinking about buying a a M101A3 trailer for hauling firewood and construction materials when I need the extra capacity. I'll pull it with a 1997 Dodge Ram 4x4 diesel which should handle it no problem. I have some questions about the trailer and purchasing surplus equipment through the...
As the title states I am new to Military Vehicles and new to this forum.
I am interested in a M101 series trailer for hauling firewood. I have a 1997 Dodge 2500 4x4 with a Cummins diesel engine that I will use to pull the trailer.
I searched the forum for information on M101 trailers. I...
